Today after classes let out, one of my good friends was giving me a ride home. When I said I didn’t want to cook tonight, she said she didn’t really want to either. So we sat in the car and thought about what places were around that we could try.
We ended up at City Barbeque.
And the food was delicious. We were glad that we went even though every time we go out for food we always eat too much. We stopped ourselves tonight, but we were eating our leftovers just hours later.
Last week we tried a new pizza place. It’s nice to have someone to go on these mini food adventures with and maybe go to a place I wouldn’t go to on my own.
I’m 7 days into the month and feeling pretty thankful. The weeks will get harder as I try to find things that aren’t my friends or the city of Indianapolis or sports to be thankful for. It’s a challenge that I look forward to and I can’t wait to see what other things, beyond the typical ones, that I can be thankful for.
