A good friend of mine introduced me to an organization named I am Second. And I’m so glad he did.
The purpose of I am Second is “to inspire people of all kinds to live for God and for others. Actors. Athletes. Musicians. Business leaders. Drug addicts. Your next door neighbor. People like you.”
Each of the stories on their site is true and fits into struggles that we all deal with at some point in our lives or another. Their site says, “You’ll discover people who’ve tried to go it alone and have failed. Find the hope, peace, and fulfillment they found. Be Second.”
One of the videos that I enjoyed watching was Clayton Kershaw. I had read his book and his I am Second video was a great compliment to all that he and his wife wrote in “Arise: Live Out Your Faith on Whatever Field You Find Yourself.” Watch his video here.
Thanks to my friend, I have reinvigorated my passion and love for Jesus Christ. And I will proudly declare that I, Megan Filipowski, am Second.
