My family has this tradition of Christmas tree hunting.
We go out to a Christmas tree farm and pick out our tree. Well being in Indy and knowing that finals are coming up, I chose not to make the trip.
But my mom didn’t leave me out.
I was sitting in my bed getting ready to start on some reading when my iPad started ringing at me. She was FaceTiming me from the Christmas tree lot.
I got to see some of my family (and even got to give my little brother a hard time). It was so nice to be able to be there while not being there. Thank you technology for being so awesome.
Now, with having seen them, I can go into this day filled with homework and not feel like I’m missing out on something at home.
